For several years, the Butler Chamber of Commerce has hosted one of the most anticipated summer events in town: the Glow Splash Bash at the Butler Aquatic Center. Known as “the last party of the summer,” the Bash is a glowing celebration for all ages, held from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and offering $1 admission with a free glow stick for every paid guest.
As the event continues to grow in popularity, the Chamber’s Glow Bash Committee is exploring new ideas to make this year’s celebration even bigger, brighter, and more fun than ever before. But to make it happen, they’re asking for the community’s support.
Goal: Let Every Kid In Free
While the cost to attend is already minimal, in years past, generous local businesses have stepped up to cover admission costs for children — ensuring that no kid misses out due to finances. For 2025, the Chamber hopes to expand on that idea and make admission free for every child.
To achieve this, the Chamber is looking to secure two core event sponsors to help cover the cost of renting the pool and lifeguard staffing. In addition, they are seeking five to six “Ticket Sponsors” at $50 each to help eliminate entry fees for all children.
“This is one of those feel-good events where the whole town comes together,” said Executive Director Cody Morris. “It’s a small gesture that can make a big impact for local families.”
