Huckster’s Day Returns This Saturday with Over 75 Vendors, a Car Show, and the All-New Mainstreet Music Showdown

The wait is almost over — Huckster’s Day is happening this Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., rain or shine, on the downtown square! This annual celebration brings together local vendors, live activities, and community spirit for a fun-filled afternoon that everyone can enjoy.

This year’s event is shaping up to be one of the biggest yet, with more than 75 vendors registered to set up around the square. From handmade crafts and home décor to tasty treats and unique gifts, there will be something for everyone to explore. Be sure to check out the vendor map before you come so you can plan your walk around the square.

🎤 Introducing the BRAND NEW Mainstreet Music Showdown

This year, we’re thrilled to debut the Mainstreet Music Showdown, a brand-new addition to Huckster’s Day! Sponsored by Butler Music, this exciting singing competition will feature local talent taking the stage to compete for prizes — and bragging rights — as the crowd cheers them on.

Whether you’re there to sing or just to enjoy the show, the Mainstreet Music Showdown is sure to be one of the day’s biggest highlights. Come support your favorite performers and experience the incredible musical talent right here in our community!

🎶 Information for Musicians Participating in the Mainstreet Music Showdown

Performers, please review the attached Bandstand Schedule to see when you are scheduled to perform. A portable sound system will be available with a few open inputs for anyone who would like to connect their own equipment.

We will have a couple of microphones available, and if you plan to play music from your phone, an aux cord will be provided. However, please remember to bring any adapters you might need to make a proper connection to your device.

If you have any questions prior to the event, please contact Cody at (660) 464-1339.

👶 Baby Contest Hosted by BHS Alumni

The BHS Alumni Association will once again host the popular Baby Contest. Registration begins at 11:00 a.m. at the bandstand, with winners announced at noon. Families are encouraged to participate and cheer on the littlest members of our community.

🚗 The Car Show Is Back

Car enthusiasts will be excited to hear that the Car Show is back for this year’s event. Drivers can enter for a $15 registration fee for a chance to win trophies and prizes in several categories. Those who simply want to show off their vehicles are also welcome — parking in the show area is free for display-only cars, though they won’t be eligible for prizes.

🙌 Sponsored by Roger Lawrence Plumbing

A big thank-you goes out to Roger Lawrence Plumbing, the official sponsor of this year’s Huckster’s Day. Their continued support helps make this beloved community tradition possible.

🛍️ Vendor Information

Vendors can begin checking in as early as 8:00 a.m. on the southeast corner of the square, where a Chamber Board Member will be available to help with setup and direct you to your space. Please make sure all vehicles are moved off the square by 10:30 a.m., unless other arrangements have been made.

Each vendor booth will have a clipboard with the vendor’s name to confirm location. Please note that all vendors are required to stay for the entire event from 11:00 to 3:00.

If you haven’t yet paid your vendor fee, please do so before Saturday. Payments will not be accepted on the day of the event. Cash or check can be dropped off at the Chamber office at 112 W. Dakota.
